The Kada Anan Martial Arts Association (KAMA) was originally founded to promote and preserve two significant Filipino martial arts traditions: DeCuerdas Eskrima, the family system headed by the late Grandmaster Gilbert Tenio, and the integrated three-style system of Senior Master Juan Eliab Sr., which combined Serrada, Larga Mano and DeCuerdas techniques. KAMA's lineage traces directly to these legendary masters through Grandmaster Gilbert Cordoncillo, who had the honor of studying under both men and carrying forward their martial arts legacy.
Our roots in the DeCuerdas style have provided us with a strong foundation in martial arts principles. While the association no longer offers direct instruction, we have evolved to serve in a supportive capacity to instructors, groups and other organizations that provide training in various martial arts.
We remain dedicated to upholding the principles of proper technique, discipline and respect and actively seek out partnerships with those who share our commitment to quality martial arts instruction. By working together, we can continue to grow and evolve as a community of dedicated practitioners.
Our goal is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all who are passionate about training. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced practitioner seeking to refine your skills, our association is here to support you on your journey towards mastery.
