The Kada Anan Martial Arts Association (KAMA) originated as an organization focused solely on promoting and safeguarding DeCuerdas Eskrima, the Filipino Martial Art of late GM Gilbert Tenio and the three-style blend of eskrima from Senior Master Juan Eliab Sr. comprised of Serrada, Larga Mano and DeCuerdas, as taught by GM Gilbert Cordoncillo, one of the last students of GM Tenio and Senior Master Eliab.
Our roots in the DeCuerdas style have provided us with a strong foundation in martial arts training. While we have expanded our focus to include other martial arts, we remain dedicated to upholding the principles of proper technique, discipline and respect in all aspects of our training.
We actively seek out partnerships with organizations, schools and individuals who share our commitment to quality martial arts instruction. By working together, we can continue to grow and evolve as a community of dedicated practitioners.
Our goal is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all who are passionate about training. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced practitioner seeking to refine your skills, our association is here to support you on your journey towards mastery.
